In 2013, researchers at La Trobe University in Melbourne conducted a survey of over 2000 year 10, 11 and Year 12 students. They found that:
"The majority of students (69%) have experienced some form of sexual activity."
"Over half of all students reported having received a sexually explicit text message."
"Social networking sites are used at least once a day by 87% of all students."

Patricia Weerakoon is a Sexologist. As a Sexologist she has translated her passion to bring good holistic sexual health to all people into practical sex education, sex research and sex therapy. She works in an honorary capacity as a senior lecturer with the University of Sydney. She has a recognised media presence and is a highly regarded public speaker and social commentator in sexuality and sexual health.
She is an evangelical Christian and her works flows out from a Biblical and Christ-centred worldview. Her writing and speaking brings together her enthusiasm for sex and her love for the glory of God.
She is the wife of Vasantha and mother of Kamal.

Teen Sex By the Book
This book covers topics like cybersex, pornography and homosexuality, and the effects these can have on our sex lives. The discussion is frank and, in parts, explicit. You may find it a little uncomfortable, but it’s stuff that will inform and challenge you. Ultimately, it calls you to consider who you are and what you stand for.
The Best Sex For Life
This book will discuss the day-to-day activities of a good sex life plus hot topics like premarital sex, infidelity, pornography, sex toys, sexual dysfunctions and variant sexual practices. Discover how to have the best sex for life, no matter what stage of life you are at.
This includes admission for one adult and afternoon tea. This will go towards covering the expenses required to run the event including having our guest speaker. Attendees must be 18 years old or above.
This includes admission for one child (0-5 years old) into creche and their afternoon tea. There will be 2 qualified and experienced volunteer adult leaders with SAFE training and a WWCC. This service will be operating from 2-3pm and then from 3:30-4pm. Children will be reunited with their parent or guardian during afternoon tea. Only ten spaces available.
